Where do you find the deals? I find most of the deals through blogs, forums, and also by browsing ads & online stores.
Why are you doing this? Deal hunting is a hobby of mine, so I spend time everyday sifting through shopping forums and blogs. I also like browsing stores for fun.
Do you make money off of some of the “deals”? Yup, but that’s only if I have a partnership with the company, about 90% of the time, I don’t make a cent off of the deals. I will post deals regardless if I get a commissions from them or not and I will not give priority to deals that I make commissions on. Deals are listed by how good the deal are. If you don’t believe me, search online and let me know if you find something better, I’ll add it to the newsletter a give you credit.
How long do you plan to run this newsletter? I’ll probably start sending the newsletters out in September all the way to Christmas Eve (for the REALLY late shoppers, for shame!). If after Christmas, people still want to read my newsletter (I’ll run a poll on the site) then I will continue to run it all year round. So don’t forget to tell your friends!!! It really depends on how many people read and use the newsletter.
